@desawisata_alamendah masih menjaga tradisi seni bela diri tradisional Pencak Silat, yang biasa dilakukan warganya saat pagi ataupun sore hari, baik perorangan ataupun berkelompok, yang terlihat di salah satu sudut desa.
Siklon seroja tahun 2021, tidak hanya memberikan kerusakan terhadap kehidupan manusia, berdampak negatif juga terhadap ekositem terumbu karang di Nusa Tenggara Timur. Berdasarkan hal tersebut YAPEKA bersama Society of Entrepreneurs and Ecology (SEE) bekerjasama dalam program restorasi terumbu karang dengan pendanaan Hibah Proyek Blue Partnership Action Fund (BPAF).
